Interesting scientific reports of young people were heard at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives

Today, the presentation ceremony of candidates who submitted a report for the “Best Scientific Report” competition, announced among young scientists, doctoral students, dissertators and masters, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, took place. The event was organized by the territorial organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of Academician Ali Guliyev Institute of Chemistry of Additives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The executive director of the institute, doctor of chemical sciences Afsun Sujaev informed about the importance of holding competitions among young people and said that this contributed to the preparation of young people as scientists, and receiving a certain award supports further motivation for science and scientific research. According to him, these competitions had been held for almost 10 years and had become a tradition: “Every year they are timed to coincide with the anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. This year is one of the important events that we have held in accordance with the Action Plan prepared at the Institute within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”.

In her speech, the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Experts of the Institute, Gunay Ismayilova, noted that the selection of candidates took into account such criteria as the relevance of the topic, the scientific and practical results, the level of answers to the questions posed.

In accordance with the terms of the scientific competition, the members of the Expert Commission listened to the reports prepared by the applicants in accordance with the subject of their scientific research, in order to evaluate them. Each candidate was given 10-15 minutes. During the presentation, 4 scientific reports were heard and questions were answered.There was a wide exchange of ideas around interesting reports.

For information, we note that the winners of the competition will be announced in early May. The winners will be awarded diplomas and cash prizes.
